Circular needle knitting - Knit from Scratch: Coaster/ Basic Scarf (Absolute Beginners)

New to knitting? You’re in the right place!

Knit from Scratch is the perfect starting point for absolute beginners—no prior experience needed, no pressure—just a calm, welcoming space to learn and enjoy something new.

You’ll start with the basics: how to hold your needles and yarn, how to make your first stitches, and how to complete a simple project. By the end, you’ll have created either a coaster or a pot holder using circular needles—walking away with new skills and a handmade item you can be proud of.

We’ll be using hand-dyed wool by Bianca of From White To. Bianca carefully sources her wool from farmers who respect nature, animals, and people. She dyes the wool by hand, using only natural products, creating stunning color combinations with a soft, luxurious feel.
